May Williams

Counsellor & Psychotherapist

About Me:

A personable Integrative Counsellor/Psychotherapist who is highly organised with a dedicated, professional attitude who prioritises creating a rapport with my clients with a combined approach to psychotherapy that brings together different elements of specific therapies. Integrative therapists take the view that there is no single approach that can treat each client in all situations.

When required, techniques and strategies can be provided in order to seek ways of managing the clients’ difficulties as well as promoting positive energy towards influencing change. An action plan may also be jointly created and agreed, encouraging clients to reach their realistic goal and step by step moving closer towards achieving what they want to change.

With over 12 years experience within the NHS, Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) and private practice setting with adults and adolescents from aged 15 years upwards. I am also registered with numerous private insurance companies.
