Dr Emma Townsend

Clinical Psychologist

Emma is a Clinical Psychologist who provides support to individuals across the life span. She offers person-centred assessments and therapy drawing on evidence based psychological interventions. She believes everybody is worthy and is commited to helping others make sense of their difficulties. She draws on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) skills and Systemtic therapy, and adapts these to suit the person.

She currently also works in the NHS with children and young people with diagnosis of Autism suffering with their mental health.
